Nimal Kunapalasingham
Nimal is a local dentist and went to school at Corfe-Hills. His intention was to always return back to Dorset following his training to work as a Dentist.
Nimal graduated from the Peninsula Dental School in Exeter and Plymouth in 2014. Following this he went on to spend two further years gaining his Post Graduate Certificate in Restorative Dentistry in 2017 and in 2021 after a further three-year training programme Nimal was awarded his Masters in Dental Implants from the University of Bristol. Prior to Dentistry, Nimal also completed his Bachelors in Science in Biomedical Science.
Nimal continues his learning in Dental Implants and Advanced Restorative techniques by attending various courses. Along with this, Nimal spends two days a week at Poole Hospital in the Oral Maxillofacial Unit and Restorative Department offering treatment to cancer and trauma patients whilst working alongside various Consultants.
Outside of work, Nimal loves spending time with his wife Sade and two children - Elijah and Kaia. Nimal loves keeping healthy and fit by attending the gym, spending time over the purbecks mountain biking and playing golf.
